Contact us for more information about affiliating your EB-5 project in San Antonio with EB5AN.

Affiliating with EB5AN’s State of Texas EB-5 regional center will give your EB-5 project several advantages.

1. You can start raising investment capital for your project anywhere in San Antonio.

EB5AN’s Texas regional center is one of numerous USCIS-designated Immigrant Investor Regional Centers run by EB5AN. The State of Texas EB-5 regional center has geographic coverage of the entire state, including all of San Antonio, so you can get started raising investment capital for your San Antonio–based EB-5 project.

2. You will have a bigger job cushion for your investors.

If you affiliate your EB-5 project with one of EB5AN’s regional centers, you will be able to include direct, indirect, and induced jobs toward the 10-job requirement of the EB-5 program. Projects that are not affiliated with a regional center can count only direct jobs (direct payroll employees of the new enterprise). Being able to include these different types of jobs makes it easier to meet the job requirement per investor, meaning you can have more investors and thus more investment capital to fund your project.

3. You’ll have expert assistance evaluating your project.

EB5AN’s team of EB-5 experts can help you get your project affiliated with our regional center in the shortest amount of time possible so you can get started right away. Our team will help you figure out how many jobs your project is projected to create, and thus how much EB-5 capital you can obtain from investors. We will also go over your proposal to ensure that you meet our criteria for affiliation.

We can get your I-924 application for a new EB-5 regional center submitted in only three weeks.

Not only do we offer project affiliation with one of our designated regional centers, we can also help you get your own regional center up and running. To form your own EB-5 regional center, you will need to complete and submit an I-924 application. Our team can guide you through that process, ensuring that you have understood the wording and included the necessary documentation with your application. We have a vast amount of experience with completing these applications and can help you avoid common mistakes. EB5AN has already finished more than 300 business plans and economic impact studies for the EB-5 program in the 20 plus states fully covered by our regional centers.

Contact us to get started with your I-924 application and let us help you get your EB-5 regional center approved. We guarantee a response within 24 hours.

How can you find out if your project is located in a targeted employment area?

Because targeted employment area (TEA) designation holds numerous benefits for EB-5 projects in San Antonio and other cities, it is important to understand both the benefits of and the USCIS process for TEA designation. To determine whether your EB-5 project location falls within a TEA, please consult our free EB-5 TEA map, which includes data for the entire United States. All you need to do is to enter the project address—the rest of the process is automated.

The EB5AN TEA map relies on the most recently published versions of two data sets, namely American Community Survey (ACS) five-year data and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data. It assesses TEA eligibility based on four calculation methodologies USCIS accepts—three related to calculating unemployment rates and one related to qualification as a rural TEA. Unemployment rates are calculated using (1) American Community Survey (ACS) five-year unemployment data by census tract, (2) the census-share methodology, which is based on a combination of ACS data and county-level BLS data, and (3) BLS county-level data for TEA determination on a county-wide level. To determine rural qualification, population and geographical data are considered. To qualify as a TEA, a project site needs to qualify under only one calculation method.

A TEA can also be created by combining directly adjacent census tracts and considering the weighted average unemployment rate. The EB5AN TEA map performs this function automatically.
