Sam Silverman and Mike Schoenfeld founded EB5AN in 2013. Since then, Sam and Mike have built EB5AN into one of the nation’s leading EB-5 investment fund managers and regional center operators. They oversee the firm’s 15 USCIS-approved regional centers, which span the entire continental United States. They also serve as the general partners of EB5AN’s 50+ real estate investment funds, which together have deployed more than $1 billion in EB-5 capital nationwide.
Together, they oversee EB5AN’s diverse portfolio of real estate investments. These include single-family homes, townhomes, multifamily apartments, condominiums, ski and wellness resorts, and master-planned communities. Sam and Mike leverage their expertise and experience to manage investments across a range of markets including Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.
Sam and Mike are also founders of Eagle Peak Development, a real estate development firm focused on large-scale residential and golf resort communities. Through Eagle Peak, they are involved in all major phases of community development, including acquisition, planning, financing, construction, sales, and operations. Eagle Peak’s portfolio includes more than 7,000 acres of development, with more than 2,000 remaining homes and condominiums to be developed across its communities.

Samuel B. Silverman
Sam oversees the development of EB5AN’s marketing and offering materials. He leads EB5AN’s global marketing efforts, working with partners in Asia, South America, and Europe to promote EB5AN’s best-in-class EB-5 investments. He also manages regional center compliance to help secure positive outcomes for EB-5 investors. Sam is a recognized authority on the EB-5 program. He is regularly cited by leading media outlets—including The Wall Street Journal and New York Post—for his insight on EB-5 regulations and market trends. He strives to improve access to good information for EB-5 investors and to promote more transparency in the industry. Before founding EB5AN, Sam gained extensive management, financing, and brokerage experience across Florida, Pennsylvania, California, and Georgia. He also worked internationally in Beijing, China, as Director of Corporate Strategy and Expansion for golf legend Jack Nicklaus. In that role, Sam led the brand’s growth across China. Earlier in his career, Sam was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, one of the world’s premier management consulting firms. There, he advised Fortune 500 companies across the hospitality, real estate, media, manufacturing, and food service industries.Sam holds a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in Mandarin Chinese from Yale University, a Certificate in Financial Accounting from the London School of Economics, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Social Entrepreneurship.
Michael B. Schoenfeld
Mike brings a rigorous private equity and investment-diligence discipline to the underwriting, structuring, and management of EB5AN’s EB-5 real estate funds. He evaluates real estate developers, reviews project capital stacks, assesses repayment sources, analyzes collateral and guaranty structures, and oversees fund-level investment strategy across the firm’s national portfolio. Through these efforts, Mike helps safeguard investor capital and EB-5 immigration outcomes.Before EB5AN, Mike built extensive experience in private equity, investment diligence, management consulting, and entrepreneurship. He worked at AEA Investors, a leading middle-market private equity firm. There, he made control-oriented investments in consumer goods, industrial goods, and business services companies.Mike was also a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, one of the world’s premier management consulting firms. At BCG, he worked directly with Fortune 500 companies across many industries, including transportation, financial services, industrial goods, information technology, and real estate.Mike also founded PRelocate, a designated promoter that helps individuals and companies capitalize on Puerto Rico’s tax incentives. Mike holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Social Entrepreneurship.
