EB5AN regional center rental provides developers with valuable benefits

When you rent the EB5AN State of California EB-5 Regional Center, you can…

1. Raise EB-5 investment funds anywhere in Union City.

The EB5AN regional center with coverage of the entire State of California allows our affiliates to raise EB-5 capital for their projects in any area of Union City, including its suburbs. EB5AN operates numerous regional centers, all approved by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and listed on the USCIS website.

2. Attract investors by changing the way your EB-5 project meets EB-5 program requirements.

Unaffiliated projects may count only direct employment positions of more than 24 months toward their job creation total. Regional center projects, which allow investors to count indirect jobs, result in higher job creation numbers, so they tend to be much more attractive. This allows developers to easily gather more EB-5 capital for their projects.

3. Become an affiliate quickly so you can turn your attention to raising EB-5 capital.

USCIS compliance is a simple process when you rely on EB5AN’s expertise. We can expedite the EB-5 regional center affiliation process, including calculating your project’s potential to support EB-5 capital and create jobs, and its suitability for affiliation with our Union City regional center. Once that’s done, you can raise the EB-5 capital you need.

Does Union City have TEA designation?

Because targeted employment area (TEA) designation holds numerous benefits for EB-5 projects in Union City and other cities, it is important to understand both the benefits of and the USCIS process for TEA designation. To determine whether your EB-5 project location falls within a TEA, please consult our free EB-5 TEA map, which includes data for the entire United States. All you need to do is to enter the project address—the rest of the process is automated.

The EB5AN TEA map relies on the most recently published versions of two data sets, namely American Community Survey (ACS) five-year data and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data. It assesses TEA eligibility based on four calculation methodologies USCIS accepts—three related to calculating unemployment rates and one related to qualification as a rural TEA. Unemployment rates are calculated using (1) American Community Survey (ACS) five-year unemployment data by census tract, (2) the census-share methodology, which is based on a combination of ACS data and county-level BLS data, and (3) BLS county-level data for TEA determination on a county-wide level. To determine rural qualification, population and geographical data are considered. To qualify as a TEA, a project site needs to qualify under only one calculation method.

A TEA can also be created by combining directly adjacent census tracts and considering the weighted average unemployment rate. The EB5AN TEA map performs this function automatically.

Union City is ripe with economic potential

Union City thrives mostly on industrial and shipping labor, with a large percentage of the population engaged in public sector work for the school district or city, or in packing and retail, including for Wal-Mart, Southern Wine & Spirits, and Ajax Manufacturing. The EB5AN State of California EB-5 Regional Center has geographic coverage of Alameda County. Immigrant investors can meet the qualifications for the EB-5 program and clear a path to U.S. permanent residency when they invest through our USCIS-approved Union City regional center.

Union City’s population of more than 69,000 can certainly benefit from a lower unemployment rate resulting from completed EB-5 regional center projects in the community. In 2010, the city planning commission estimated the city would grow to 75,000 by 2020, so there is a ripe but underserved labor market. By becoming an EB5AN business affiliate, you can play an active role in bringing new development and jobs to the people of Union City.
