Renting the EB5AN regional center allows you to take advantage of valuable benefits

When you rent our state of Virginia EB-5 regional center, you can…

1. Raise EB-5 investment funds for a project anywhere in McNair or Fairfax County.

EB5AN’s regional center, with coverage of the entire state of Virginia, allows our affiliates to develop projects that use EB-5 capital in any area of McNair. EB5AN operates numerous U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)–approved regional centers. You can see these centers and their coverage on the USCIS website.

2. Incentivize investors by increasing your EB-5 project’s documented economic impact.

Unaffiliated projects may only count direct employment positions of more than 24 months toward their required job creation total. Regional center projects, which allow investors to count indirect jobs, result in higher job creation numbers, so they tend to be much more attractive. This allows developers to more easily gather more EB-5 capital for their projects.

3. Become an affiliate quickly so you can turn your attention to raising EB-5 capital.

USCIS compliance is a simple process when you rely on EB5AN’s expertise. We can expedite the EB-5 regional center affiliation process, including calculating your project’s potential to support EB-5 capital and create jobs and its suitability for affiliation with our McNair regional center. Once that’s done, you can raise the EB-5 capital you need.

Could your McNair project benefit from a TEA designation?

Because targeted employment area (TEA) designation holds numerous benefits for EB-5 projects in McNair and other cities, it is important to understand both the benefits of and the USCIS process for TEA designation. To determine whether your EB-5 project location falls within a TEA, please consult our free EB-5 TEA map, which includes data for the entire United States. All you need to do is to enter the project address—the rest of the process is automated.

The EB5AN TEA map relies on the most recently published versions of two data sets, namely American Community Survey (ACS) five-year data and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data. It assesses TEA eligibility based on four calculation methodologies USCIS accepts—three related to calculating unemployment rates and one related to qualification as a rural TEA. Unemployment rates are calculated using (1) American Community Survey (ACS) five-year unemployment data by census tract, (2) the census-share methodology, which is based on a combination of ACS data and county-level BLS data, and (3) BLS county-level data for TEA determination on a county-wide level. To determine rural qualification, population and geographical data are considered. To qualify as a TEA, a project site needs to qualify under only one calculation method.

A TEA can also be created by combining directly adjacent census tracts and considering the weighted average unemployment rate. The EB5AN TEA map performs this function automatically.
