What medical issues will make an EB-5 applicant inadmissible?

Generally speaking, visa applicants are rendered inadmissible for medical reasons if they have communicable diseases or certain mental illnesses. In some cases, a visa applicant may be inadmissible due to a physical/mental condition that, in combination with other relevant factors, makes the applicant likely to become a public charge. An EB-5 investor and his/her derivatives, however, are at low risk of becoming public charges due to their high net worth.
