Affiliate your Colorado Springs EB-5 project with EB5AN and enjoy several valuable benefits.

If you affiliate with an EB5AN EB-5 regional center, you’ll be able to do the following:

1. Instantly begin the process of EB-5 capital raising.

The quickest way to begin accumulating EB-5 capital is to link your project to our EB5AN regional center. Our State of Colorado regional center geographically covers all neighborhoods of Colorado Springs, which means you’ll be able to commence capital-raising activities anywhere in the city. Numerous EB5AN Immigrant Investor Regional Centers have been granted official approval by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), as shown on the USCIS website.

2. Enjoy facilitated EB-5 investor requirements.

Investors are subject to various requirements when they make EB5 investments, and one of them is the creation of at least 10 jobs. Thus, EB-5 projects must be able to generate enough jobs to ensure that each EB-5 investor can create the requisite number of jobs. For projects that are not affiliated with regional centers, this condition is hard to meet: Investors can count only payroll employees who have been employed for a minimum of two years. However, projects sponsored by regional centers can count indirection job creation as well. This way, the job-creation requirement is significantly facilitated, meaning you can raise even more capital for your EB-5 project in Colorado Springs.

3. Take advantage of a quick affiliation process.

The sooner you’re affiliated with us, the sooner you’ll be able to begin raising EB-5 capital. Without a doubt, the fastest and easiest way to complete the affiliation process is to have our experienced team guide you along. We’ll examine your project to determine whether it’s suitable for affiliation with our network, and if it is, we’ll work together with you to ascertain how many jobs it will create and how much capital it will be able to support.

Find out whether Colorado Springs counts as a targeted employment area.

Because targeted employment area (TEA) designation holds numerous benefits for EB-5 projects in Colorado Springs and other cities, it is important to understand both the benefits of and the USCIS process for TEA designation. To determine whether your EB-5 project location falls within a TEA, please consult our free EB-5 TEA map, which includes data for the entire United States. All you need to do is to enter the project address—the rest of the process is automated.

The EB5AN TEA map relies on the most recently published versions of two data sets, namely American Community Survey (ACS) five-year data and Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data. It assesses TEA eligibility based on four calculation methodologies USCIS accepts—three related to calculating unemployment rates and one related to qualification as a rural TEA. Unemployment rates are calculated using (1) American Community Survey (ACS) five-year unemployment data by census tract, (2) the census-share methodology, which is based on a combination of ACS data and county-level BLS data, and (3) BLS county-level data for TEA determination on a county-wide level. To determine rural qualification, population and geographical data are considered. To qualify as a TEA, a project site needs to qualify under only one calculation method.

A TEA can also be created by combining directly adjacent census tracts and considering the weighted average unemployment rate. The EB5AN TEA map performs this function automatically.
