At what point in the EB-5 process are EB-5 investors required to be physically present in the U.S.?

At no time during the EB-5 process is an EB-5 investor required to be in the U.S. All communication between the investor and his/her attorney can take place via phone, email, etc., and the attorney will be able to handle the process on behalf of the investor. Physical presence is required only after the investor receives permanent resident status.
