The EB-5 Program will continue as it currently exists until September 30, 2016, at which point action will be required by Congress. While Congress is expected to renew the program, it may at that time change EB-5 in a number of ways—the primary expected change is an increase to the minimum investment thresholds. Since 2016 is an election year, some in the industry anticipate another extension without change, but it is impossible to know what will happen with any certainty.
