If the NVC has not received an investor’s approved I-526 Petition from USCIS after about five or six weeks, the investor should contact the Immigrant Investor Program Office (IPO) and wait for a response. At this point, the investor may also want to consult with the attorney who filed his/her I-526 Petition or retain new counsel to handle the delay.
